Container Security

Containers are not secure by default. A container running as root has significant access to the host system. An image from an untrusted source might contain malware. A misconfigured container can expose sensitive data. Outdated dependencies have known vulnerabilities. Security in containerized environments is different from traditional security. You're not securing a single monolithic server—you're securing dozens or hundreds of ephemeral, interconnected containers. The attack surface is larger. The complexity is higher. The consequences of a breach can be catastrophic.
